ECO

Eco Recycling Societa a Responsabilita Limitata

Eco Recycling is a technology transfer-based company. Its main activities consist of the study, development and validation on self-designed chemical plants, of innovative processes for the recycling of different kind of wastes like WEEE, photovoltaic panels, batteries among others. The processes are based on a hydrometallurgical approach and are aimed at the recovery of valuable components by developing sustainable processes from economic and environmental point of view. The products which are recovered from e-wastes, represent secondary raw materials which are possible to be re-used in the referring market, enhancing their value chain in the frame of circularity. Eco Recycling owns a technological industrial platform where its pilot plants and prototypes are located and ready to be run. The demonstration activity carried out in the pilot plants is focused on the validation of both the processes on a bigger scale than the lab ones and the technology to perform such processes.
The recovered products are finally analysed in order to verify the compliance of them with the market requirements. All those aspects of its activity, are finally used to perform technical-economic feasibility study in order to assess the industrialisation of its innovative processes and environmental impacts analysis (e.g. LCA) in order to assess the sustainable of its processes also by comparing with existing traditional ones, from an environmental point of view.
